ART & WATER - CALL FOR ARTISTS DOCKSIDE PERFORMANCE ART
Seeking Musicians / Performers presenting works in languages other than English
This is a call to artists. Introducing Art & Water’s Dockside a paid artist residency program that invites you to take the stage, create and perform dockside with us this summer at our dockside venues at 585 Queen’s Quay West and 1 Queen’s Quay East.
Toronto’s waterfront is vibrant and full of life, we’re making sure performance arts has a home on the waterfront with an intimate dockside series, presented free to the public, inviting passerby’s to stumble upon our productions, stay for as long or as little as they like, inspiring them to consider live performance for their next night out and to seek concerts in traditional venues after their experience with us.
We’re looking for PERFORMANCE ARTISTS OF ANY GENRE, singer singwriters, small bands of 2-4 persons who are looking for a space to jam and perform outdoors, with exposure to 100 000’s of persons every week at our two very busy waterfront locations.

Paid Dockside performances open to the public.
$75-100 for a 45 minute set per artist group this is total per hour fee regardless of the number of artists
$$225 - $300 for 3 x 40 minute sets over 3 hours. per artist group this is total per hour fee regardless of the number of artists
Once or Twice a week. May to October
Performance Schedule
Beginning May Long weekend and running 16 weeks through to Labour Day, performances occur 6 nights a week across two locations.
Monday. 6-9pm 585 Queen’s Quay West
Tuesday - 6-9pm 585 Queen’s Quay West
Wednesday - 6-9pm 585 Queen’s Quay West
Friday 6-9pm 1 Queen’s Quay East
Saturday 6-9pm 1 Queen’s Quay East
Sunday 6-9pm 1 Queen’s Quay East

We want to put the world on the stage - Toronto is an international hub communities from across the globe are here - we want to make sure Torontonians witness the world at their doorstep

We are also trying out a new pop-up dockside patio and bottle shoppe that will support local breweries and would love to have you be a part of it!
Tech Specs
The dock space is floating, we have stools and seating you may use, as well as spaces for the audience to linger on shore or on the dock.
You will have access to a Yorkville EXM Mobile 12,
BYO Amps and microphone
